Now seems like a good breaking point in the day to post an updated blog entry, let's talk about the action packed afternoon filled with conference tournament games! The Sun Belt started out our day with a 11:30 AM CST game and handed out an immediate loss to Chris and Tammy. Favorite (8) South Alabama had a huge 2nd half to come back against (9) Appalachian State, knocking them out of the conference tournament. In the 2nd Sun Belt game of the day (5) Troy escaped with an exciting win against (12) Arkansas State.
Over in
the Missouri Valley the afternoon started
with (8) Northern Iowa easily taking care of (9)
Illinois state, ultimately resulting in no impact to our pool. While the
2nd game of the day resulted in (5) Indiana State absolutely
crushing (12) Evansville. Congratulations to everyone on surviving
the opening round of Arch Madness!
This blog entry was probably unnecassary, but I got overexcited updating the Appalachian State loss on the spreadsheet. The standings are updated here. We have so many games coming up this evening, enjoy!
